Hello, I would like to thank you for the Spanish conversation clubs, which is sadly reaching its end this week.
Juan was an excellent teacher, I gained a lot from the lessons with him...One can study grammar, but it's very difficult to get by without speaking.
Juan's way of teaching was very good , and it was obvious that he was taking the preparation very seriously.
We've had a lot of fun together, we have learned a bit more about the life in Uruguay and we met a good friend.
We would be very happy, if it was somehow possible to continue in the spanish conversation club because it seems very difficult to find an only Spanish speaking course in Trencin.

Once again thank for the chnce to inprve my Spanish.

Rada by som sa Vam podakovala, za klub spanielskej konverzacie, ktory sa bohuzial uz tymto tyzdnom konci. Juan bol skvelym ucitelom, hodiny travene konverzovanim v spanielcine mi boli velkym prinosom...Clovek sa moze ucit gramatiku, ale bez rozpravania sa len horko tazko dohovori.
Juan mal velmi dobry styl vyucby a bolo vidiet ze sa na hodiny poctivo pripravuje.
Uzili sme si s nim vela srandy, dozvedeli sme sa nieco viac o zivote v Uruguaji a nasli sme si v nom dobreho kamarata. Keby bolo mozne pokracovat nejakym sposobom v klube spanielskej konverzacie, cize keby sa vam podarilo zohnat spanielsky hovoriacu osobu, tak by sme boli velmi stastni, lebo v Trencine je to dost tazke najst takyto klub kde sa len rozprava po spanielsky.

Este raz dakujeme za moznost zdokonalit sa v spanielcine.

Hello KC Aktivity,
I would like to thank you for the Spanish conversation course which exceeded my expectations.
Juan, alongside all my Slovak classmates, helped me to brush up on my knowledge of Spanish, and to motivate me to learn new vocabulary and grammar.
I really liked Juan's approach. We studied by experience: we watched films, we did a bit of cooking or were presented information about Uruguay with some youtube videos, too.
Despite the fact I didn't speak much, which was due to my lack of the vocabulary:), I enjoyed the lessons and, thanks to Juan, I was never bored.

chcel by som sa Vám poďakovať za kurz španielskej konverzácie, ktorý prekonal moje očakávania.

Juan spolu so slovenskými spolužiakmi mi pomohli oprášiť španielčinu a motivovali ma k tomu, aby som sa začal zase učiť nové slovíčka a gramatiku:-)

Páčil sa mi Juanov prístup. Učili sme sa zážitkovou formou: mali sme kino, varenie alebo prezentáciu Uruguaia s použitím videí z youtube.

Napriek tomu, že som toho veľa nenarozprával (pretože mi chýba slovná zásoba:-) som si hodiny užil a nikdy som sa vďaka Juanovi nenudil.

My summer activities and time in Slovakia.

In my last time in Slovakia I can say that for one side I am not prepared for leave Slovakia and for the other side I would like to see my family, friend and streets…

I am so happy with my task until now… The Spanish clubs are going according to my expectation or better. The next week will be the last clubs.

Also we already finish with presentations about our homeland at schools… it was also really good, the contact with Slovak children, how they felt with us… the most of the times they showed us interest for what we were doing, and showing them.

Now in our center there are some activities for children because of summer vacation, came also some volunteers from USA doing activities with them, and teaching them English. I think it is really good experience for the children and so useful… Actually the most of the people need English for their future life - professional and also personal. In the future I think will be obligation speak in English for get a job, and for sure it is also really good for have some way to speak with people whose speak totally different language but also English. The children on american camps are learning English at the same time that they are playing…. It is the best form how to educate children in my opinion. My task in that case is just to go there every morning and start to play some tables games, after that, the people from USA arrive and the activities with them start. Some days we go to play sport with them, like outside activities, really nice too. Tomorrow will be the last day of the children in our center, the center will take the normal ambiente. I think we are going to sicken for the children running in the center…  with Paulo, we are not like protagonist of this activitie, but we see it from the outside and the short time that we are with them is a pleasure.

I would like to speak about the creative workshops that are working in the center, it is also for children that are on holidays but they are not involved in the activities with USA people because it is other project. I have really good relation with the children of this activitie. I help to them to make the things but also I try to have and funny relation for make the atmosphere more nice and enjoyable. Also I think they are not here just to be like at school, I think they are here for relax…and enjoy of open activities.

I think it is all what I want to say until now, just I hope to enjoy my last time in Slovakia, I think is the only possible way, I don’t have an other option that spent the more nice time that I can.. 

TRAINING FOR YOUNG YOUTH LEADERS

Paulo, Joana and me have already returned from the training for young leaders, which took 3 days. It was organised by INNEX and was held in Banská Štiavnica. We had very busy schedule, sometimes I felt lack of free time for some leisure activities :-). But it was a very nice experience for me. The coolest thing was for me to meet people from different cultural backgrounds and make an inter-cultural exchange with them. The program consisted also outdoor activities, for example on Saturday morning all the team worked hard in the garden.Working team enjoyed and learned how hard is to work in the rain in the morning. Very interesting was also informational block about the first aid. You never know when you will need to use this knowledge tos deal with certain situations which could endanger you or your friends.
On Saturday night we made a night game that was interesting too. The game was about finding information required in the city. During game one of the participants in my group was a guide. The objective was to explore the city. This was very good too, because we knew the city by night through a game. The training was partly in slovak, partly in english, sometimes was difficult to understand everything which was said in Slovak, but Joana help me and Paulo with translation. People who were in training were mostly nice. For me it was very useful weekend full of fun.

ADVANCE PLANNING VISIT FOR YOUTH EXCHANGE

Two weeks back we´ve got a chance to meet group leaders from 4 different countries, who cooperate with us on preparation of our first youth exchange in KcA. Group leader from Hungary (Netta) arrived on Thursday afternoon. We took her from train station in Trenčín and spent some time together. The second person who arrived was boy from Finland (Panu) who came at night. We returned home and continued in talking. After the midnight arrived also a boy from Lithuania (Darius). We spent first day of APV by knowing each other better. All people were accommodated in our volunteer´s flat in Juh. The next day after breakfast I took leaders to KCA where should start APV activities. Lenka and Thomas were waiting for us there. Before afternoon came missing leader from Poland (Michail).

After finishing some activities in the organization, we went to visit the downtown of Trenčín city to become familiar with it. The trip was interesting, we found a man who told us a part of the history of Trencin. After the tour we had dinner and then the night continue in some pub and others go to sleep (I was one of them.)

On Sunday we started early to work, after a long day of presentations and exchanges of ideas, among which were exposed many uncertainties about how to solve problem regarding accommodation, food. Also the discussion was based on what it means to people to be a leader of a group, what are the characteristics that a leader should has had, etc. In my opinion this type of discussion explained people the position of each leader in his/her group and help to make things better.

After these activities, to achieve better integration between the participants were all playing bowling. For other reasons I could not go there. I consider as positive the group with people who are open and able to solve the problems in the best way, always talking. With differences of course, but in any human group differences, it's cool to be able to resolve the differences between all and I think there are no problems in that regard. Having said all this I think the exchange that is in good hands and will be a nice experience for everyone.

Eko Works shop

The world have so much environmental problems and trash is one of those problems, we want to help the world, we think that we need to do big action or the government and companies, but normally we don’t know how to do and with simple action we can have big impact for example the Eko workshop for the nursery school that had been present to about 450 children in Trencin. The best age to learn something is when we are children and it is really good, they know how care about the environmental now and when they are children. The Eko workshop the children learn about how separated the trash and what is the right container that they need to put away the trash and they learn this with game and music. The first step Marta plays with them, the game with four buckets with the same color those containers on street for collect the residential trash, green (glass), blue (paper), yellow (plastic) and black (others) and some trashes those the children need to put in respective buckets related with the containers, after they corrects the mistakes and learn what is right way to put way trash from home. In the second step, they use the can, rice, cardboard from toilet paper, pieces of old clothes and tape, most of those entire things were trash, but now they make a shaker with those trashes, after they have second game that they receive a picture and black and write with four containers and trashes (organic, glass, newspaper and others) where they need to paint containers of respective colors and make the line to the trash to container that trash belongs and this way remember what they learned on first step. The Last step they dance cabeça, ombro, joelho….(hlava, kolena, palce …..in Portuguese) and make easy rhythm. I hope that most of them it will use this knowledge at home.

First month.

I've been almost a month in kca and I am very happy with my place here. So far I have not found reasons to feel bad or things that I dislike. In contrast to how things were managed in Zilina in my last organization, I have a thread here I see where I'm dropping down (this gives stability to life). Well on the one hand I am developing conversational Spanish workshops so far some 6 in this group have come interesting discussions and the idea is to change the dynamics of the workshops, do the same thing, so that people feel encouraged to go. On the other hand started with a workshop in Spanish for beginners, which has not been very successful because only two people are coming, and it works in the organization. I hope that in the course of the day more people join the proposal. Although it is good to know maybe you will not be extended classes for long, because I return to Uruguay in September, but are good to kick and plunge into Spanish.On the other hand I am happy with my work in the creative workshops with children, especially children with disabilities.As a final reflection I'd like to say that beyond that one is voluntary and has no major responsibilities is always good to be busy and feel useful on something, feel that what you are doing has some fruit and result, you do some things order and some sense.

Green cabbage from northern Germany

In North- west Germany we have a tradition that now lasts for many many years. A long time ago when people were starving in the winter we grew in Germany a vegetable that you could harvest in the winter time and we call it the green cabbage. After the first frost in autumn or winter this caggabe was fully grown and the people could eat it from their garden- wich was really practical because when its freezing it cannot rot. The people ate this kind of vegetable because it had everything they need for living: a lot of vitamins and it filled the people so they didnt have to starve.

Still we keep to this old tradition and we make a big celebration in the winter time. Together with friends we walk one afternoon long around the streets, playing games, talking and drinking and nobody except the "cabagge king" knows where the group is going. But all the time they end in a restaurant in the surrounding to eat the green cabbage and to celebrate in the evening and then they select a new king who needs to organise the tour for the next year.

With my german club here in Slovakia I didnt want to do the whole walking tour, but I wanted to show how we eat this traditional cabbage from northern Germany. In a nice atmosphere we sat together in Kulturne Centrum Aktivity and talked about this tradition, everybody could try the food and of course extend the german language skills of everybody!

Travelling Slovakia and Ukraine

In the end of January I started with my estonian Friend Merit a small trip to the eastern part of Slovakia. After staying one night in Košice we went really early in the morning by bus to Užhgorod in Ukraine. We were waiting really excited 2 hours travelling in the coldest and smelliest bus I have ever been in and arrived finally at the ukrainian border. The slovak officers were really happy to be able to practise their german with me and were wondering what we are doing at this small border. Then the big and fat ukrainian officer woman came to me and asked me something in russian- I was luckily that Merit speaks a little bit russian and could translate for me: Where are you going? What do you want? When are you coming back?... and so on. This whole border procedure took us 2 hours and we were late for our meeting with the Ukrainian couchsurfer Artem. He was quite nervous that we lost so much time and showed us around in the local shops and helped us with everything! Alone we would have been totally lost in this city where nearly nobody speaks english. Explaining us everything really fast and helping us with buying the most important stuff, we moved on to his small but nice flat close to the city center. There he had already prepared typical ukrainian food wich we had for lunch. After we went horse back riding in the surrounding of Užhgorod, visiting the city and we went to russian bania :) Really relaxed after that we cooked some pasta and went to bed totally tired from all the new impressions!
The next day- our last day in Ukraine- we visited the really nice orthodox churches in the city. Unfortunately we already had to leave, back to the cold bus and again the 2 hours procedure at the border. This time the slovak offiers were so happy to see us and we communicated in slovak about all the stuff in our bags. Merit had to empty her whole back and the officers made fun of her swimming suit :) Checking the customs, the officers didnt really want to see my bag- stači!! And they asked: čo je to? Vino? - Nie Vino, Vodka Vodka!!
A čo je to? - Jablko...- To je jablko? Je velké Jablko!! - To je granat!
Well anyway the officers had a lot of fun and finally we could move on to a small town called Michalovice- there was really no connection to Košice. In Michalovice we saw the probably most modern train station in whole Slovakia- and it was really nice to feel the bilingual side of Slovakia: hungarian and slovak. At night we arrived again in Košice and met the other volunteers again!
The next day we went on to Jahoda to our midterm seminar. Not far from Košice in the mountains it was really really cold, but everybody was happy to see each other again! All the people changed after the 5 months of EVS and it was nice to exchange experiences. A lot of volunteers were not satisfied and some were really happy and we got a lot of information about new projects. Also we made evaluation abour our projects and made some slovak activities, went skiing and hiking and swimming and everything that is nice :)
After this wonderful seminar in Jahoda a few of the volunteers went to visit the city Rožňava in the south east of Slovakia. It was really nice to visit the other volunteers flat and spent the weekend together.
I hope to see all other volunteers again soon and hope to become a lot of visitors in Trenčín!

New years eve in Bratislava

For new year, still free for everyone in KCA, my friends from Germany visited me to celebrate together. After relaxing in Trenčín and spending as much time as possible together, we went on 31rst of December to the slovak capital Bratislava to celebrate the beginning of the new year 2011.
Even though it was really cold, we spent the whole night on the streets and danced in the snow under the fire ballons and fire works. The whole city was full of people and everywhere were concerts and music and a really good mood. In the small market places we could buy varené vino and met a lot of nice people from everywhere in Europe who came to Bratislava to celebrate.
At 8 in the morning we came back to Trenčín with a lot of ballons and raindeer ears and falled a sleep immediately when we saw our beds.
A really good beginning of the new year :)

Christmas at home

After spending the christmas time in Trenčín and the KCA closed, Paulo, Gilberto and me started our small trip to Germany to spent the holidays and the Christmas days there. From Trenčín we first went by bus to Prague and then to Dresden and Berlin. It was quite exorsting because the minus 15 degrees made it hard to stay outside for a longer time. In between we visited the biggest christmas market in the world in Dresden and I showed the two Brazilians the german sausages :) The same day we went on to Berlin and spent two days visiting the capital of Germany. Although, two days were not enought to see everything so we just visited the most important monuments and attractions. After that we flew to Bremen and finally I was home again and could see all my family and friends. First we celebrated my birthday with my friends and I showed our guests my city Oldenburg. It was really nice to taste again the food I missed so much in Slovakia, especially the turkish and indian food and to be able to buy some german books.
The christmas time was really nie and unfortunately we already had to leave on 27th of December and went on to Vienna, where we stayed for one night and visited the city.
After that, we came back to small and snowy Trenčín, quite tiered but full of new ideas for starting into the new year!

International christmas party

Yesterday we organised a small but nice christmas party in the Spolocenska Sala in KCAktivity. Paulo and me hang up christmas decorations everywhere in the room and we prepared some food like brazilian "mousse" and german black bread with cheese. All the people from my german club came and also some friends of ours from Trencin and sorrounding. With some international christmas music in different languages we spent a nice evening talking and singing in four different languages: slovak, english, portugese and german.

In the end of the evening nobody wanted to leave but we had to because it got really late. It was a really nice evening to celebrate christmas and the end of the year in good hope to see each other next year again :)

Youth- exchange in Italy

One week ago I went with a nice group of young people to the youth- exchange in Benestare, Italy. We met in Bratislava, took the flight from Vienna to Rome and after with the night train to the south of Italy, Calabria! Here the weather was so nice and we had a nice welcome with the italian participants. Right in the morning we also met the other participants from all around Europe: Estonia, Hugary and Czech Republic. It was a really nice atmosphere and through different art workshops about handcraft, european citizenship and tolerance all our people became closer and more opened. We organised international evenings where all groups could present their country, so we learned some important sentences in different languages and a lot of different dances. Our slovak group made a really nice presentation about slovak food and tounge twisters and also some workshops about handcraft in Slovakia.
In the end we grew to a big family and everybody was really sad when we had to leave. But we know:

We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when, but I know we'll meet again some sunny day!

The other' slovakia

This weekend was a big day for most of the volunteers in Slovakia: The photo exhibition "The other Slovakia" in Bratislava opened on Friday in the GuNaGu theatre. 40 volunteers send their pictures about Slovakia, themselves and about their work. On Friday at 6 pm the exhibition opened with a dancing workshop and after the best pictures were chosen by a slovak jury. Everybody was really excited and there were many pictures with whole different inspiratons and views- how the volunteers are.
After the opening we had a small party with typical slovak food and went into the city. It was nice to meet all the people again we met at the on- arrival- training and many more volunteers who are already at the end of the project. We could talk about our expectations and about expiriences during our EVS.
We hope that we also could make a small exhibitions about the volunteers pictures in Trencin next year.
The exhibition will stay in Bratislava for one more week and will travel then all around Slovakia to Kosice!

V decembri budem hrať spolu s Divadlom Normálka v klube Lúč divadelnú hru "Luna Pagáčová Izabella". Je to o dievčine menom Izabella, ktorej otec sa chce stať slávnym. Hrám Izabellinu dcéru. Moj otec je nemecký futbalista, s ktorým Izabella kedysi prezila krátky románik. Dufam, ze hra bude mať úspech a nájde si veľa divákov.

In Germany I always played a lot of theatre and because I do not want to loose my skills here, I joined the theatre group in Klub Luc in the town wich is called "Divadlo Normalka". The people are very funny and of course crazy like always in theatre... and I love that! We will perform a play on 12th of December wich is called "Zvlnený studený front". It is a comedy about a girl whose father wants her to be famous. I just have a small role, but it is really funny and it practices my slovak a lot!
-Tak pod'me chlapci, kto je na rade? Ja som ju prebal'ovala minule.-
But the pronounciation is really hard and I hope that I will be better in December for the performance... it is in just one month so the time runs.
Also I would be pleased when you would join us as audience on 12th December!
Till then, I will practise a lot and hope you will like it :)

Football class

In the penultimate Friday during in the afternoon I was help the football training at primary school ZŠ UI. L. Novomeskéno close to Kca, It was very entertaining the children are 10 years and good future in football. The coach Miro speaks very well English, this very good now that I am not speaking Slovak language yet. The children speaks a lot things in English. The enough asked, Do play football? What football player do you prefer? What is best player do you think? This day the coach gave me ticket from I see Trenčin team play on friday. I was looking the Trencin win per 2x 1 for Slovak second division. This tuesday I went back to training with the boys again, but the weater isn't good, so We was training on the gymnasium. On Monday they played floor ball was my second contact with floor ball, all Friday I am playing together Peter and each day I was thinking this sport more better, some friends in Brazil wants to learn play floor ball. A great sport to practice in Brazil.

English and chemistry class

In the Monday and Tuesday I was at school I knew many Englishes classes, In the class I showed me and the children asked me some things about me and the questions sometimes was normal questions how: What your name?, Do you like football?, How old are you?, and so many funny questions how: Do you have girlfriend? Teacher! Is he your husband? What your cellphone number?. In the Tuesday I was chemistry class, I understand a few things because of Slovak language and I talk if the teacher about the some experiments that I can show in laboratory. We resolved that we will show a experiment about vitamin C next week. In the afternoon I showed somethings about the Brazilian fauna in English class. I help in basketball training too just I was looking with the children playing right. I liked very much all the people and school the student, teacher and director . They were very receptive with me.

Kultúrne rozdiely medzi Slovenskom a Nemeckom

Odkedy som sa dostala bližšie k slovenskej kultúre, objavila som pár doležitých rozdielov medzi mojou domovskou a hosťujúcou krajinou :-). Na prvý pohľad mi všetko pripadalo nie veľmi odlišné, ale po chvíli som zhodnotila, že ľudia sú naozaj iní. Na Slovensku sa ľudia pri prvom kontakte správajú veľmi placho a skromne, ale hneď ako vás spoznajú, stávajú sa z nich najotvorenejší ľudia akých som doteraz stretla! V jednom kuse vás pozývajú na kávu, starajú sa o vás a až keď sú si celkom istí, že vám nič nechýba, starajú sa o svoje vlastné pohodlie. U nás v Nemecku to vyzerá skor tak, že sa ľudia starajú najskor o seba a až potom o tých druhých.

Taktiež som si všimla, že na Slovensku sú ulice oproti našim dosť špinavé, ale myslím, že je to preto, že ľudia sa tu viac zaujímajú o to, ako to vyzerá u nich doma a nie vonku.

Dúfam, že počas svojho pobytu prídem aj na ďalšie rozdiely medzi nami. Zatiaľ vám Slováci ďakujem za vašu pohostinnosť!

Slovakia and the nature

It really seems like slovak people love the nature! First i did not know why, but last week i visited the vysoké tatry for my doblovolnicky-seminar. Even it was really really cold there, the natur fascinated me! We went for an 5 hour trip to the mountains and enjoyed the fresh air and the power of the unspoiled nature. In these mountains you really can switch off your head and enjoy.

Back in Trencin, me and my roomate discovered the mountains around Trencin and found a nice way to walk and have fun with sport activities!

Praha

The last weekend I visited Czech republic the first time. With the bus I went directly from Trencin to Praha. The city is pekné and so beautiful. After my arrival I could not find the hotel so I tried to use my slovak language skills to ask for the way and: they could understand! The Czech people are as friendly as the slovak people, how I can say so far. Everybody was really helpful, espeacially when you try to speak czech language or slovak language. The only thing that disturbed in Prague was the sun shining too wet.

But I will definetly come back and see this city again!

First impressions from Slovakia by Paulo.

I had a good and long trip to get here. In the first week I see that it is worth every kilometer of the nearly 11 000 that I took to get here. I felt a good atmosphere in the city, The city is very clean, well maintained and organized. A great place to live. The ambient in the organization is great, all very attentive from the moment of first contact. As my roommate has being very helpful and very patient for me everything is different and very good.

Last Friday my roomate from Brazil arrived! So I am not that allone in the flat anymore and I have someone to talk with about how it is to be a volunteer in Trencin. Also it is really interesting to share the flat with somebody, who has a whole different culture, speaks a different language... and we really do not like the same food!
Last week we also got internet in the flat- with a lot of help from Lubo, wo installed everything for us.This will be a really nice, funny and multicultural year in Trencin, wich i am really looking forward to.
On Saturday we visited the castle of Trencin, wich is really historic and beautiful! You can see the whole city when you are up on the top of the tower.
In the KCA the activities started. I had to speak slovak to children in pottery class, but they just understand: "Ako sa volas?" wich is the most important sentense in the kurz for now.

But anyway, it was a lot of fun, like you can see on the picture!

Meeting the slovak culture

After I had some time to get around in Slovakia and especially in Trencin I got to know the slovak culture better. Sometimes people act really shy but I did not meet any unfriendly people yet (except in the foreign police office but thats another thing) and also are they always smiling when they hear me trying to speak slovak. I tried this week the slovak national food, Halusky, in a nice and traditional slovak restaurant. The food is really good and always a lot!
Slovak people are always in time and really clean in everything. I think I am the only one that went into my flat with shoes on! But I like that, it's a good thing to learn and to bring home. The last week I gave some german- lessons in the Hotels- Academy. I prepared a presentation about myself for the 2nd and 5th class. The 2nd class was pretty shy and their german not that practiced, but the 5th class was really good and they did understand a lot german and also they could speak with just a few grammar- misstakes.
Somehow I wondered why people here are learning german, I mean aren't there languages more important and easier than german? I am glad that I don't have to learn german anymore because it is a really complicated language, but slovak is the same.

This week I will start the advertisement for my nemecky- klub and prepare the the first meeting. Today will start the pottery- calls in the KCA for children and I practised the requiered words to be able to speak with the children and we will see how it works!

My first week in Trencin

Ahoj Trencin!
Last monday I arrived here in Trencin, Slovakia. It was a quite long journey, I flew from Hamburg to Warschaw and to Bratislava. There I got my first impressions of this really nice country. I had to find my way to the hlavna stanica and then a way with the train to Trencin. But it was quite easy, so everyone was really helpfull and everyone asked me if they can help me with my luggage or something.
At the trainstation Marta and Peter from my organisation KCA picked me up and we went to my firt own flat by car. My flat, wich is situated in the JUH is really nice and svetlý and I was really happy about my big skrina :)
Really tiered from the long journey I went early to bed and met with Marta and Peter the next day. They showed me the very big center where I work and the way to the Juzanka shopping center. Also we had to buy a carpet for the big but yet empty living room.
I think I never met so many helpful people at one place! The last week I met a lot of new people like Kristina, a girl my age who studies here in Trencin. Also all people at my work are really nice and they are trying to speak german sometimes wich is really sympathic. I have to improve my slovak really fast, because I want to communicate with everybody here in the aktivity center and also in the town.
Kristina showed me the old city of Trencin wich is really pretty and by now I also know my way around. First it was really hard to find the way to my work but I know one of the most important sentences in slovak: Kde je kulturne centrum aktivity? So there are always helpful people around and I fell like home, but still a bit lost because the flat is really big for me alone. But that will be better in a week. The slovak people are really hospitable, so my chef Svetluska gave to me really delicious fruit and vegetable from the own garden wich I ate yesterday for dinner. I also tried a really good other slovakian dish wich is kind of a sweet dumpling I ate with powdersugar and Quark.
Last week was really calm in the center but now that the holidays are over it's getting really busy at work. I am preparing my presentations about myself and for my work at the hotels academy and also I am starting to prepare something for my nemecky- klub wich I will held here in the KCA.

So I will see what the next week will bring!
